1. Cleaning glass falls under customer responsibility, as Lackey Glass does not provide professional cleaning services.
2. Leaks WILL occur if the shower pan is not sloped towards the drain. Lackey Glass is not responsible for leaks that occur due to incorrect shower pan installation.
3. Lackey Glass is not responsible for tile alignment, such as tile not installed uniformly or in a straight line, or walls being out of square. While we construct our products to cope with these challenges, we are not responsible for complications that result due to such.
4. Lackey Glass is not responsible for tile issues that occur due to improper tile installation when drilling for our product. Instances such as not having enough thin set or the tile being hollow WILL lead to the tile cracking when drilled through. Please contact your tile installer if you have any concerns BEFORE we come to install our product.
5. If there is no support in the wall for a frameless unit, the unit will fail over time and pull away from the wall, risking overall product damage and personal safety. Please note that this does not fall under an issue with installation, and that this will occur naturally due to the laws of physics. While we at Lackey Glass will be happy to help you correct this issue as falls under our jurisdiction, we are not responsible for the conditions of support being met or the risks taken when installed without the necessary support
6. We at Lackey Glass take pride in our transparency with customers, not only letting you know what is possible in your installation request, but also in the safety of such a request. We have extensive experience in glass product installations and make recommendations based on past experiences and challenges associated with relevant installations. While we want you to be a happy, repeat customer, we will not avoid telling you when your request does not meet specific requirements in possibility and safety. While other companies may be willing to disregard these concerns, we will not. If the installation goes against reasonable recommendations, we will not be able to warranty the work.
7. At Lackey Glass, we are not responsible for customer provided glass products. As a service company, we will use a customer provided products upon request but doing so voids all related workmanship warranties, as well as any warranties related to breakage, scratches or other defects.
8. While Lackey Glass provides vinyl beading replacement services, we do not warranty the damage or breakage of pre-existing glass during replacement services. Due to the condition of aged, insulated windows, with the spacer commonly melted to the existing vinyl beading, removal of this vinyl beading often results in breakage.
9. Lackey Glass does not provide carpentry services. Please guarantee the workmanship of relevant wood products as incorrect framing, damage, rotting wood, and additional quality points are the responsibility of the customer. A warranty cannot be supplied for our services when the quality of the wood structure is compromised before installation or adjustment.
